GIVING BACK

I am so proud to sit on the Board of Directors of this amazing organization! Food For Thought is a Sonoma County non-profit whose mission is all about healing with food and love. We provide free weekly groceries, including fresh produce, nutritional supplements, vitamins and whatever other goodies are on hand, along with frozen meals. Our services include nutrition counseling, healthy cooking classes and an organic gardening project.

We serve thousands of people living with HIV, COVID-19 and other serious medical conditions in Sonoma County . We provide services in English and Spanish. Many of our clients receive delivery service because they are homebound due to ill health, living without shelter, isolating due to a positive COVID-19 diagnosis or do not have transportation. Hundreds of volunteers help us deliver food, prepare healthy meals, work in our food bank, tend to our organic garden and more.

Visit www.fftfoodbank.org for more info, or just drop me a line and we'll talk about opportunities to help out and/or donate.

Do you like food... or are you planning a date night... or are you just looking for a way to contribute to a great cause? Well then, Dining Out For Life is for you!

Dining Out For Life is Food For Thought's biggest fund raiser of the year, and it's coming up on December 5, 2024. This is essentially a county-wide Dine and Donate, with around 75 restaurants around Sonoma County offering to donate between 25% and 100% of their day's proceeds to Food For Thought. CLICK HERE for more information and the list of incredible restaurants who are sponsoring the event this year.

I am honored to be a COTS Agent For Change, a select group of real estate professionals who have dedicated their time and resources to supporting COTS - The Committee On The Shelterless.

Coats For COTS is a neighborhood coat drive I started doing in 2017. Every year during the holidays I collect a car-load or so of coats to deliver to COTS. They are so appreciative of the incredible support! This year's coat drive is coming up soon, so let me know if you have something to donate.

HOT, SWEET, DELICIOUSNESS! That's the only way to describe this locally made, not-for-profit sriracha. A friend of mine started making this in 2018 to raise money for fire victims after the firestorm of 2017. Now he donates all of the proceeds from sales of Sonoma Strong Sriracha to the Redwood Empire Foodbank, $16,000 in 2023 alone! This product is currently all sold out, but the next batch is scheduled to be brewed in October 2024. You can follow them for updates on Facebook HERE. It is soooooo good!
